Juveniles arrested after breaking into Little Caesars
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Three juveniles were taken into custody after allegedly breaking into Little Caesars and trying to make a getaway in a stolen van.
Police reports show dispatchers were notified of a glass break alarm at Little Caesars on 17th Street at about 4 a.m. Friday morning, Idaho Falls police spokeswoman Holly Cook said.
A young man was seen running from the business after the windows were shattered with cinder blocks. He got into a van that had recently been reported stolen.
Shortly after, the van was stopped by police and officers discovered the three juveniles — ages 12, 13 and 14.
They admitted to the van theft, broken windows and stealing a wallet that was in the van.
Nothing was stolen from Little Caesars, according to Cook.
The juveniles were arrested and booked into the 3B Juvenile Detention Center.
