Portion of I-15 closed due to high wind, low visibility

IDAHO FALLS — Interstate 15 between Exit 118 (Broadway Street in Idaho Falls and Exit 143 (Highway 33 near Roberts) is closed due to high winds.
Visibility is reduced and cars are not being allowed through.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning between 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Strong and damaging winds of between 35 to 45 mph are expected, with gusts in excess of 60 mph.
The following areas will be impacted by the highest winds: Rexburg, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Pocatello, Burley, Malad City, Oakley, and Rockland.
