Mobile home completely destroyed after blaze in Jefferson County

RIGBY — A double-wide mobile home was completely destroyed Tuesday evening by a large fire.
Central Fire District Chief Carl Anderson reports firefighters arrived at 4041 East 200 North in Jefferson County at about 6:45 p.m. Upon their arrival, firefighters discovered a double-wide mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.
Law enforcement, who were at the scene prior to firefighters, confirmed all occupants were out of the house and safe, according to a Central Fire District news release.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames in the home and surrounding trees. The home was considered a complete loss, but nearby surrounding structures were saved.
There were no injuries to firefighters or residents. Two dogs and a cat made it out safely, however, one cat may have died.
The total damage to the home was $115,000, according to a news release.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
