Luna: Prop 3 a Hard Sell for Idahoans
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS – As the polls close on Election Day, Tom Luna said he believes Proposition 3 may be a hard sell for Idaho voters.
In an interview with Tim Lewis and Jolyn Thomas on Newstalk 690 and 1260 this evening, Luna said those donating to stop Prop 3 from going forward have spent an “awful lot of money” to scare voters into believing Prop 3 would drastically raise property taxes.
Luna said those against Props 1, 2 and 3 have tied an increase in technology to an increase in taxes. He said Gov. Butch Otter would not have signed the bill if taxes had skyrocketed due to the education reform.
