According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Seth Taylor has been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY

REXBURG — A local sheriff’s office is trying to find a 17-year-old runaway.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that deputies are looking for Seth Taylor. He was last seen on Monday, Oct. 16, in the parking lot of Madison High School.

“He refused to get into the vehicle of a relative who was his ride home from school. The relative attempted to follow after Seth but lost sight of him near the McDonalds on University (Boulevard) in Rexburg,” the Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office says.

Seth was wearing a black hoodie with a red symbol on the upper left of the chest, gray sweats with a black pattern on them, black tennis shoes, a black ball cap and a gray backpack.

It was reported that Seth did not have his cellphone or a wallet with him, the sheriff’s office said.

He is 6 feet tall and 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 372-5000.
