Police investigating death as a suicide at Madison Armory

REXBURG — The Rexburg Police Department is investigating a death at the Madison Armory.
Rexburg Assistant Police Chief Gary Hagen says officers responded Tuesday morning to a report of a death at the Madison Armory located at 870 North 2nd East in Rexburg.
Hagen says the death is being investigated as a suicide.
Witnesses tell EastIdahoNews.com that around midday, there was a large police presence at the business, and that the store and gun range were closed.
Hagen says the death did not occur during business hours, and it is not clear when the business will reopen. EastIdahoNews.com reached out to the store for more information, but we have not heard back.
