Growing through the tests of faith

James 1:2–4 reminds us to “count it all joy” when we face trials, because the testing of our faith produces perseverance—and that perseverance leads to spiritual maturity. In those moments when we feel stretched, uncertain, or even afraid, God is inviting us to lean into Him, to move from surface-level belief to a deeper, unwavering relationship.
Walking by faith means trusting that God is working, even when we don’t see immediate results. It’s choosing to believe that every challenge has a purpose, every delay is a lesson, and every hardship is a chapter in a greater story of transformation. When we fix our eyes on Christ and commit to growing through each test, we begin to walk with confidence—not because the path is easy, but because we know who walks with us. Let the trials grow you, not shake you. Let them draw you closer, not pull you away. In the refining process, God is building something beautiful in you.
