Sources: Suh to Appeal $100,000 Fine
Published at(DETROIT) — According to sources, Detroit Lions tackle Ndamukong Suh is appealing his $100,000 fine. His agents are attempting to gather enough information that will prove that the amount of the fine is excessive.
Suh was fined Tuesday for his hit on Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan during their game on Sunday. He is one of the team captains and he apologized to his teammates for his actions.
Suh said on Wednesday that his agents are handling the appeal, and that he won’t say whether he thought the fine was fair.
“That’s not my decision,” he said. “I don’t really have an opinion on it.”
Suh’s $100,000 fine has put the Lions’ organization closer to suffering financial consequences if there are future infractions against him.
