Woman killed in motorcycle crash near Pine

PINE — A 25-year-old woman from Mountain Home died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on the Pine-Featherville Highway, according to Idaho State Police.
The crash happened around 1:17 p.m. near milepost 14 in Elmore County. Investigators say the woman was riding a 2013 Honda CBR500 eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and was thrown from the motorcycle.
Despite wearing a helmet, the rider died at the scene.
All lanes of the highway were blocked for about 90 minutes while emergency crews responded.
The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
