Ohio State Quarterback Braxton Miller Cleared to Play Against Wisconsin
Published atNo. 4 Ohio State (4-0) has played well without Miller on the field. Since he was injured early in the Buckeyes second game of the season, Miller’s replacement Kenny Guiton has thrown 12 touchdown passes including a school-record six in last week’s 76-0 win over Florida A&M.
Still, it seems if Miller is ready to play, that’s exactly what head coach Urban Meyer will let the junior do.
“I know Braxton, if he has a good week of practice, will start,” Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Monday. “I saw him (Sunday), and I’m much more confident. I mean, he had a very good day yesterday, and we practiced pretty hard.
“I’m saying he’s around 90 (percent) right now, and he could be 100 by next week, I’m hoping.”
Ohio State and Wisconsin (3-1) are set to kick-off at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, on ABC.
