POCATELLO — Apple pie, pumpkins, live music and plenty of locally grown produce will take over downtown Pocatello this Saturday as two fall celebrations come together.
The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will hold its 11th annual Harvest Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at Lookout Point, coinciding with Historic Downtown Pocatello’s Great Pumpkin Fest.
The Harvest Festival will feature live music from Dustin Armstrong & The Remedy, along with food trucks, local vendors and a petting zoo.
Beixy’s Kitchen, Camille’s Crepes and Homefire Comfort Foods are among the food vendors expected at the market. Shoppers will also find fresh produce, handmade items, fall goods and other seasonal offerings from local vendors.

“One of the day’s highlights will be the annual Apple Pie Bake-Off,” said market manager Ellen Loomis. “Anyone hoping to put their baking skills to the test can bring a pie to the market booth by 11 a.m. for judging and a chance to win cash prizes.”
2 Bees Farm & Garden will also hold its annual drawing during the festival.
The Harvest Festival will take place alongside Great Pumpkin Fest, which will bring additional fall activities to Historic Downtown Pocatello throughout the day.
Saturday’s celebration comes as the farmers’ market begins winding down its 2026 season. The final market of the year will be held on Oct. 31.
The Harvest Festival is supported by 2 Bees Farm & Garden LLC, Idaho Central Credit Union and the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market.
