Wall And Wizards Snap Thunder 10-Game Win Streak, 96-81
Published at(WASHINGTON) — Wizards point guard John Wall scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half as Washington (23-23) topped Oklahoma City (38-11) on Saturday Night, 96-81, snapping the Thunder’s 10-game winning streak.
Wall, who was selected to his first All-Star game this season, also had 15 assists and six steals. Forward Trevor Ariza scored a team-high 18 points while teammate, forward Nene Hilario poured in 17.
Kevin Durnat led the Thunder with 26 points, but shot 8-for-21 from the field, including 0 for 6 from downtown. He also committed five of Oklahoma City’s 21 turnovers.
