A CRAZY SIGHT TO SEE — Dramatic footage has gone viral of a semi-truck hanging over a median, and the video is one you have to see to believe.
The incident happened on Interstate 280 in Newark, New Jersey, on Oct. 28, 2026. Video shows a semi-truck stuck on top of a median with the cab hanging over onto one side of the interstate and the trailer slanted diagonally on the other side.
The video shows cars slowly merging as they near the scene of the accident, with cones blocking several lanes. First responders are seen on both sides of the interstate.
One videoshows two tow trucks on scene getting ready to try to move the cab off the median.
Bystanders are also seen standing on the overpass above, looking down at the crash.
“How in the world does that happen? I was in the thick of it last evening,” one comment on the video reads. “Talk about a nightmare commute! That was one right there!”
Another video angle of the crash shows more of the aftermath from above. Footage shows a small car between the semi and the median.
Police said the truck lost control and hit multiple cars. One person had to be taken to the hospital.
