“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” Takes Top Spot at Weekend Box Office
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Mr. Peabody & Sherman took the number one spot at this weekend’s box office earning about $21.2 million.
The animated flick features the voices of Ty Burrell and Stephen Colbert. This was the Fox film’s second weekend in theaters.
In second place was 300: Rise of An Empire with $19.1 million and in third was Need for Speed bringing in $17.8 million.
Warner Bros.’ much-anticipated Veronica Mars opened this weekend, barely making the box office’s top-ten with just over $2 million.
