(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A Blackfoot boy remains in critical condition after a head-on collision near Montpelier Saturday afternoon. Idaho State Police say nineteen-year-old Josh Teeples of Bloomington fell asleep at the wheel and struck a pickup driven by the family of Nick and Lacie Hirschi of Blackfoot. Their son Preston, who was riding in the bed of the truck, was ejected and had to be airlifted to EIRMC in Idaho Falls for treatment. Everyone else involved was taken to Bear Lake Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
