(POCATELLO, ID) – The Pocatello Fire Department will be conducting a controlled training exercise at an abandoned building Friday morning. The burn will begin at around 10 a.m. at a building near Exit 67 along I-15. Further training exercises will be held on April 8 and 9 in Ross Park. Officials say the exercises will be used to enhance the skills firefighters need to continue serving the community, and that the public shouldn’t be concerned if they see smoke.
