(DAVIE, Fla.) — While the football futures of Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito are up in the air with the Miami Dolphins, center Mike Pouncey says Incognito wants to rejoin the team.
“Me and him watched the game together at my house,” Pouncey explained of his friend Incognito as the two watched the team’s 20-16 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. “He’s doing really good. He’s in good spirits. He wants to get back on this football team and wants to get back and play football.”
“Richie Incognito, the football player, so that’s the only thing he knows. He’s missing it to death. He’ll be alright,” he continued.
Incognito was suspended by the Dolphins after allegations of bullying and hazing towards teammate Jonathan Martin arose.
Incognito is scheduled to have a greivance hearing with the Dolphins on Thursday. He hopes to recoup lost wages and either rejoin the team or be granted his release.
