(WASHINGTON) — As President Obama makes his return trip to the U.S. following his travels in Europe and the Middle East, Vice President Biden delivers this week’s White House address, discussing the importance of raising the U.S. federal minimum wage.
President Obama has used his weekly address to emphasize pay protections for American workers and raising wages for the last two months, and this week’s address from the vice president is no different. Raising the federal minimum wage, Biden says, is good for workers, businesses and for closing the gender pay gap in the U.S.
