(LOS ANGELES) — Channing Tatum is back in his 21 Jump Street role as Greg Jenko — a jock-turned-police officer — for a sequel to the 2012 action-comedy that earned more than $200 million worldwide.
The actor is so excited to portray Jenko again for the aptly named 22 Jump Street that he posted a sneak peek from the set on Instagram recently.
Dressed as a football player, Tatum is seen flying over a railing, flashing a smile once he reaches a safety mat below. “I belieeeeve I can fly… #22JumpStreet,” he wrote as a caption. Shooting began earlier this month.
In 22 Jump Street, Tatum and Jonah Hill reprise their roles as police officers, who go undercover to fight crime. But this time, they’re headed to a local college. Ice Cube will also return in his role as Captain Dickson.
22 Jump Street opens nationwide on June 14, 2014.
