The Wildcats remain undefeated in Big 12 play and pushed thier overall record to 6-1.

Quarterback Jake Waters threw for 224 yards and trusty receiver Tyler Lockett caught eight passes for 103 yards. Kansas State scored both of their touchdowns on the ground on the legs of DeMarcus Robinson and Charles Jones.

The Longhorns continue to adjust under the new regime of head coach Charlie Strong.  With a now 3-5 record, inconsistency continues to be the bane of Texas football. Quarterback Tyrone Swoopes was 13-25 for only 106 yards.

This was the first time Texas had suffered a shut out since 2004 when they lost to Oaklahoma 12-0.
