Prince Andrew, US Attorney Accused of Having Sex with Minor

Dan Kitwood/Getty Images(LONDON) — Buckingham Palace has forcefully denied allegations made by a woman in a Florida court case that Britain’s Prince Andrew had sex with her when she was an underage teen.

The accusations about Andrew, the second son and third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, were made by a woman in a motion filed in a Florida court against billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein.

In the motion, the woman, identified as Jane Doe 3, claimed she was kept as a sex slave by Epstein and allegedly forced as a minor to have sex with Prince Andrew as well as famed U.S. attorney Alan Dershowitz on a private Caribbean island owned by Epstein between 1999 and 2002.

“This relates to long-standing and ongoing civil proceedings in the United States, to which The Duke of York is not a party,” a spokesman for Buckingham Palace told ABC News. “As such we would not comment on the detail. However, for the avoidance of doubt, any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.”

The prince, 54, has had a close relationship with Epstein who has faced multiple allegations of sex with minors and in 2008 pleaded guilty to soliciting sex with a minor, serving 13 months in prison. Epstein and Prince Andrew were photographed walking together after Epstein was released.

Meanwhile, Dershowitz has categorically denied the charges, saying, “I’ve never been alone with Prince Andrew. Never been at a party with any woman with Prince Andrew and I’m certainly not a witness or participant in any sexual activities whatsoever.”

Dershowitz, who is considering a defamation suit and challenging the woman to press criminal charges, says the same woman has a history of making false claims, including allegations against former President Bill Clinton that have been discredited by U.S. Secret Service officials.

Andrew was married to Sarah Ferguson from 1986 until 1996.
