If you are a New Yorker, you give everything from a “selection of condiments” to a “selection of gingerbread” to a snow globe and honey.

The honey, a basket of it, in addition to two books and a toy, was President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama’s gift to the royal couple when William traveled to Washington, D.C., last month during the couple’s three-day visit that included a stop in New York City.

On occasion of their visit, the couple was also gifted four pillowcases and a dressing gown for their 1-year-old son, Prince George, from the swanky Upper East Side hotel, The Carlyle, where they stayed.

In all, the couple received over 40 gifts on the occasion of their three-day stay.

The gifts to William, 32, and Kate, 33, were revealed by Kensington Palace Wednesday in a list of the official gifts the royal family received while on overseas tours last year.

The biggest gift haul for the young royals came on their multi-week trip to New Zealand and Australia in April 2014.

The gifts on that trip included everything from pearl earrings for Kate and cuff links for William to a “length of cloth,” a hip flask, a polo mallet, box of toiletries, a surfboard, sheepskin boots and more books, shirts, hats and jerseys than they likely know what to do with.

Prince George alone on the trip received “121 items of clothing, 120 books, 5 textile items, 1 piece of stationery, 18 pieces of sporting equipment, 1 plaque, 3 pictures, 7 photographs, 4 perishable items, 1 musical instrument, 5 ornaments, 1 piece of jewelry, 9 household items, 219 games and toys, 2 DVDs, 2 coins, 4 CDs,” according to the Palace’s list.

While the leader of the U.S. gave the royals something to eat and something to read, Australia’s Prime Minister gave Kate and William a painting, a blanket and a book.

Kate was forced to cancel a solo trip to Malta in September after announcing she was pregnant with the couple’s second child, but she did not lose out on any gifts.

On that trip, at which Prince William represented the family alone, Kate was gifted a handbag, drawing, pin badge and key ring, in addition to joint gifts for the couple that included a table, Maltese tiles and their very own copy of The Daily Malta Chronicle, according to the Palace.

Prince William on his own received a decorated ostrich egg from a local mayor and cuff links from the country’s prime minister.

Prince William’s next major overseas trip will be to China and Japan the end of February, the Palace has previously announced. Kate is due with the couple’s second child this spring.
