The Clean Cut: Warriors MVP Andre Iguodala’s son gave him a homemade NBA Finals trophy

During his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday, Golden State Warriors MVP Andre Iguodala said his son made him an NBA Finals trophy in art class to make sure his dad would get a trophy no matter what happened on the court.

On June 17, the Warriors clinched the NBA championship title over the Cleveland Cavaliers, ending a 40-year NBA championship drought and earning Iguodala an additional NBA Finals trophy.

Iguodala told Jimmy Kimmel he was touched that his son would make the gift.

"This kid is special for him to think about me like that," Iguodala said in the video. "It was really cool. … His whole thing was … 'at least he has a trophy if he doesn't win.' He's got a good heart."

The video had more than 75,000 views at the time this article was published.
