IDAHO FALLS – Shoppers are lining up at Porter’s Craft & Frame in Idaho Falls for the liquidation sale which began at 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

The owners, Chuck and Linda Porter, announced last week they are retiring and are closing their doors at their Idaho Falls and Rexburg locations.

The sale will continue until everything is sold.

The response to the announcement has been overwhelming on social media.

These pictures sent to us from an EastIdahoNews.com user show the parking lot in front of the Idaho Falls store was full Thursday morning.

Security could be seen outside the store as the sale began.

The Porter’s are inviting you to come in and see them before their doors close for the last time later this year.

“It has been our pleasure to serve you these many years,” they wrote in a letter sent to households across Eastern Idaho. “We will miss our very good and loyal customers, many of whom have been shopping with us for their whole lives.”

The Idaho Falls store is located on the corner of Hitt and 25th. The Rexburg location is located at 19 College Avenue.
