IDAHO FALLS — Bill’s Bike & Run is holding its grand opening at its new Ammon location from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday.

The celebration begins with a 3 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. Free grilled food and cold drinks will be served from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A large bike and gear demo area will also be open, including an opportunity to test out the all new Specialized Stumpjumper and Electric bikes. Attendees can enter raffles for free giveaways by participating in activities. Bill’s is also offering $10 additional “Bill’s Bucks” for each purchase of $100 or more.

Bill’s Bike & Run in Ammon is located in the Sandcreek Commons shopping center near Broulim’s, Hobby Lobby, Cabela’s, along with other retailers and restaurants. The 1,200 foot shop opened in November 2017, and is the second location for Bill’s Bike & Run, which also has a shop in Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.

“We are excited to provide a satellite store to our main location to better serve and provide convenience to the Ammon area,” says Gray Augustus, Ammon store manager. “We offer full running analysis and running product availability at the store as well as a great kids’ bike and beginner mountain bike selection with full bike service drop off and pick up.”

Bill’s Bike & Run has gained recognition over the years through their support of community and youth programs. Through their support of programs such as Shop with a Cop, the Salvation Army, and others, Bill’s has been able to give away hundreds of restored bikes to under-privileged youth in the area.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
