Whiteout conditions cause several crashes on US 26

RIRIE — Idaho State Police are reporting multiple crashes and slideoffs along U.S. Highway 26.
As of 4 p.m. Friday, there are ongoing whiteout conditions along the highway, particularly in the Antelope Flats area.
Webcams in the area show traffic is moving slowly behind several semi trucks, and other vehicles, that have slid off the road.
ISP advises drivers to find alternate routes until the situation is resolved.
