Popular Jackson concert series canceled

  Published at

JACKSON, Wyoming — The popular JacksonHoleLive summer concert series will not be happening this year.

The event is held at the base of Snow King Mountain every year but the resort is preparing for a new gondola so organizers say the typical concert venue is unavailable.

“We’re setting our sights on 2022,” said co-founder Jeff Potter in a news release. “We have begun working with our partners and new supporters to bring the music back to Snow King Ball Park. We encourage everyone to generously support our friends in live music, both venues and artists, as the industry emerges from the shadows of the pandemic. They need our support now more than ever.”

JacksonHoleLive is designed to “bring family and friends together to celebrate music and deepen our connection as a community,” the organization says. The mission is to maintain affordable rates for youth hockey and figure skating. It has been voted the Best Summer Activity in Jackson Hole.
