REXBURG — BYU-Idaho Center Stage announces a can’t-miss concert with chart-topping country star Walker Hayes. The concert will take place on Friday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center.
Hayes, originally from Mobile, Alabama, is known for his breakout hit “Fancy Like,” which topped every country music sales and streaming chart, held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart for more than six months, and reached the top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs. The track also earned Hayes his first GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Country Song and was featured in a nationwide Applebee’s commercial.
In addition to “Fancy Like,” Hayes has delivered popular singles such as “AA,” “Y’all Life,” and the Double-Platinum RIAA-certified hit “You Broke Up With Me.” He has performed his music for national audiences on Good Morning America, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, TODAY, and was profiled on CBS Sunday Morning.

This summer you can find Hayes on the road opening for Brad Paisley, after wrapping his third consecutive headlining arena tour last year. The Alabama native also released a book in 2022 with his best friend, Craig Allen Cooper, detailing his journey to finding Christ, called “Glad You’re Here.”
