Lori Vallow Daybell is on trial in Maricopa County, Arizona, on one charge of conspiracy to commit the murder of Brandon Boudreaux, her former nephew-in-law. The jury has reached a verdict and it will be read around 11 a.m. Arizona time. Nate Eaton is live in the courtroom with updates. Please excuse any typos. The most recent updates are at the top.

GUILTY SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE

11:04 a.m. Treena Kay asks for sentencing on July 25. Lori says she wants to be sentenced within 30 days. Judge says the soonest available is July 25. It will be from 9 a.m. until noon in this same courtroom. Lori asks if he can do anything about the timing about transport. Judge says he isn’t sure about the interstate transport. Lori says they have 30 days to transport her back to Idaho. She asks if she can be moved back to Idaho sooner. Treena Kay will reach out to the extradictions people and coordinate. We are in recess.

11:03 a.m. Judge asks how many people may speak at sentencing. Treena Kay goes and consults with the victim advocate. Treena asks the judge to block off a couple hours to be safe. Beresky says the courtroom will be vacant the week of July 29. Lori says that’s more than 30 days away and she needs to be sentenced within 30 days. Judge said, “It is more than 30 days.”

11:02 a.m. Lori stipulates that it was a dangerous offense. Court says the aggravating factors exist. Judge orders a pre-sentence report on both cases. Lori asks if she can waive her pre-sentence report. Judge says no, we are going to have one prepared.

10:59 a.m. Each juror is polled. They all say “yes” when asked. Judge says we need to take care of one legal issue and asks the jurors to remain in a room outside the courthouse. Judge talks about the aggravation phase. He asks if Lori is stipulating to them, she says yes even though she objects to an aggravator phase.

10:58 a.m. GUILTY!

10:57 a.m. Judge asks the foreperson is the jury has reached a verdict. He says yes. He hands it to the judge’s assistant in a manila folder. Judge asks clerk to read it.

10:56 a.m. Lori is dressed in a pantsuit. This may be the last day she ever wears street clothes. Jury walks in.

10:55 a.m. Judge Beresky is on the bench. He says we were informed about a half hour ago that the jury reached a verdict. He asks his assistant to bring in the jurors.

10:54 a.m. Brandon’s head is bowed, he’s looking at the floor. Lori just walked in and he is staring at her.

10:53 a.m. Brandon is sitting quietly in his seat holding a stress relief cushion-type ball.

10:51 a.m. Brandon told me yesterday he plans to address the media following the verdict. We will carry it live on our YouTube channel here.

10:49 a.m. Lori’s advisory attorneys, Pamela Hicks and Robert Abernethy, just walked in.

10:46 a.m. Treena is chatting with Brandon and his wife Jenny. Media are in their seats in the courtroom. Public is being let in.

10:44 a.m. The jury deliberated for less than 30 minutes today.

10:43 a.m. One of the former jurors told me she felt a little nauseous this morning walking back into the courthouse. She has not been back since the last trial and has learned so much more that she didn’t know when she served on the jury.

10:42 a.m. Treena Kay just walked into the courtroom.

10:41 a.m. Two jurors who served in Lori’s first Arizona trial are here for the verdict. Around two dozen members of the public are here as well.

10:35 a.m. Brandon Boudreaux, his wife, Kay Vallow and other family members and friends just walked into the victim room near the courtroom.
