POCATELLO — A detached garage was destroyed in an early morning fire Sunday at 1115 East Clark Street in Pocatello.

Kim Stouse, spokeswoman for the Pocatello Fire Department, told EastIdahoNews.com that a passerby reported the fire at approximately 6:40 a.m. on March 22.

Fire crews responded quickly and contained the blaze, though the road was closed for a few hours during the response.

“Unfortunately, smoke damage still made the structure a total loss,” Stouse said.
