AMERICAN FALLS — One year after celebrating the city’s historic relocation, American Falls Days returns this weekend with the theme “Stars, Stripes and Small Town Pride.”
The annual celebration will feature a traditional parade, family activities, vendors and a patriotic twist in honor of Idaho’s America250 festivities.
The event, hosted by the Greater American Falls Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the America250 Celebration, begins at 10 a.m. Saturday with a parade starting on Harrison Street and winding through Pocatello Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue before ending near American Falls City Park.

Following the parade, the celebration moves to the park, where approximately 65 vendors will offer food, handmade goods, retail items, community resources and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
“This is the best part, where the community can get together, reconnect with old classmates and spend time with family,” organizer and Chamber treasurer Nikki Cummins said.

In addition to the festivities, visitors are encouraged to stop by the newly opened Power County Museum to explore exhibits highlighting the area’s rich history.
