The Easter Bunny is getting ready for his Easter egg hunts all throughout eastern Idaho! Join the fun close to home. Many of these events ask their guests to follow CDC safety guidelines recommending masking and social distancing.
Idaho Falls
Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. – The Waterfront at Snake River Landing (1220 Event Center Drive)
6th Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt will run at its new location! It is free, family friendly, and will have 25,000 eggs. Time zones are separated by these age groups:
- 10:05 – 1-2 years old
- 10:20 – 3-4 years old
- 10:35 – 5-6 years old
- 10:50 – 7-8 years old
- 11:05 – 9-12 years old

Friday, April 2 at 5:30 – 7 p.m. – 450 W 18 Street
Smart Starts Annual Easter Egg hunt is available to anyone who wants to join! Games and crafts will be available at the event, along with the food vendor Tasty Eats. More information can be found on it Facebook page.
Sunday, April 4 at 10:30 – 10:50 a.m. – St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (270 N. Placer Ave.)
New Day Lutheran is hosting a masked outdoor Easter Egg Hunt in the park behind the church. 300 eggs will be hidden, and the hunt will start right at 10:30! More info and updates can be found on its Facebook page.
Rexburg
Saturday, April 3. Gates open at 8 a.m. – Teton Vu Drive-In.
A photo op with the Easter Bunny will be available, and breakfast is available at $5 a plate for adults and $3 a plate for children. Egg hunt starts at 9:30 a.m. Crafts and activities are available for the kids. Updates on its Facebook page.
Pocatello
Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – 2271 E. Terry St. (Franklin Middle School).
Snake River Doodles & Friends is working with Unplug Pocatello, LLC to host an Easter experience that includes an egg hunt, Easter Bunny visits and an Easter market.
Sunday, April 4 at your house!
The Tri Sigma Sorority at Idaho State University is running an “Egg My Yard” fundraiser where it will place eggs and a note from the Easter Bunny around your yard the night of April 3.
Considering larger families, Tri Sigma is offering three different sized ordering options. For $20, it will fill 25 plastic eggs with candy and hide them in your yard. For $40, you’ll get 50 eggs. And for $60, you’ll get 75. Payment is accepted through Venmo or cash, and can be set up at the time of ordering, which can be done through Facebook Messenger with Kirkpatrick. Friday, April 2 throughout the day
Farmers Fun in 2021 is having an egg hunt as its first community event. Clues to where the eggs will be posted on its Facebook page. All eggs will be hidden by April 1, and the color-coordinated eggs can be brought into their agencies to claim prizes.
Saturday, April 3 at 12 p.m. – Constitution Park (4020 S 5th Ave.)
Pocatello Lodge is hosting “Egg” cited drive-thru fundraiser for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Drive up and they will bring the eggs to your car. Eggs will be filled with candy, dog treats, prizes, and more. Wear orange to get an extra prize! Updates can be found on its Facebook Page.

St. Anthony

Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Age groups will be separated as follows:
- Age 0-4: Bags or Baskets allowed and can be accompanied by an adult

- 7-9: No Baskets

Rigby
Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. – Rigby City Park.
Hosted by the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office CRC. Available for children 0-11. Adults are asked not to follow their children onto the field.
Ammon
Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. – McCowin Park.
Hosted by the City of Ammon, this hunt will be divided into the age groups 0-2, 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12. A special guest has been invited. Updates can be found on the City of Ammon Facebook Page.
Firth
Saturday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m. – Firth Football Field.
Age groups will be separated by 0-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12 years. There is a limit of 3 eggs per child.
Shelley
Saturday, April 3 at 10:45 – 11:30 a.m. at Dawn Lloyd Park.
Hosted by Kiwanis Club of Shelley, this hunt will begin with the sound of police sirens. It will be separated by the following age groups:

The Downey Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their own Easter Egg Hunt. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is only open to residents of Downey and their families, including visiting grandchildren. Bring your own basket!

- 7-9 at 10:20
- 10-12 at 10:30
Inkom
Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. – Stuart Park.
Hosted by Bisharat Market with multiple sponsors, this event is available for all but asks that you bring your own basket.
McCammon
Saturday, April 3 at 9 a.m. – Mountain View Elementary School.
This event was originally unable to happen until a local family made it possible. Enjoy the fun!
American Falls
Sunday, April 4 at 1 p.m. – Willow Bay Marina’s covered pavilion
The American Falls American Legion is hosting their 90th annual Easter Egg hunt. The event is free and available to everyone.
Malad
Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. – Malad City Park
The Malad Area Chamber of Commerce is continuing their annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 0-12. 40 golden eggs hidden can be changed for a gold dollar coin or a free frosty from the Drive in. The Easter Bunny will be there but bring your own camera if you want photos.

Montpelier
Saturday, April 3 at noon – Wells C. Stock Park.
This hunt will be separated into the age groups 0-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-12 years and a special-needs area will also be available. Six thousand eggs with candy and toys donated from local businesses will be given away. More info can be found on the Montpelier Community Foundation’s Facebook page.
Swan Valley
Saturday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m. – Swan Valley Park.
Swan Valley American Legion Post 97’s event begins with a raffle sign in at 10:30 a.m. and the race starts at 11 a.m. Updates can be found on its Facebook page.
Ucon
Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. – Simmons Park (and surrounding area).
This annual event, hosted by the City of Ucon, will have separate events for the different age groups, but all start at 10:00 a.m. sharp! Bring your own basket. Ages 1-3 will be in the tennis court (one parent will be allowed on the court). Ages 4 up to children in the second grade will be at Simmons Park, while kids in grades 3-6 will be on Ucon Elementary School grounds. No one over 6th grade age will be allowed to participate. Please do not arrive at the park before 9:30, and park in designated areas.
