Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025, answers 7 Questions with Emmy

Every week I’m interviewing exciting people from Idaho and around the world!

Today I’m chatting with Abbie Stockard, who was crowned Miss America 2025 in January. Abbie was previously crowned Miss Alabama 2024 and studied nursing at Auburn University. She is planning to obtain a doctorate in nurse anesthesia and specialize in pediatric medicine.

Here is what I asked Abbie:

• What got you interested in pageants?
• Can you tell me about the experience of winning Miss America?
• What does it mean to you to be beautiful?
• How did you learn to grow your self-confidence when you were my age and as Miss America?
• You are advocating as Miss America for children’s health. Can you tell me some of your goals with that?
• What would you say is one thing children can do to improve their health?
• Can you share a piece of advice with me?
