IDAHO FALLS — A popular event that brings thousands of people to shop locally will be having a giveaway to celebrate a significant milestone.
The Fall Bazaar Craft Fair will be on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bonneville High School. The event is free. There will be handcrafted soaps, candles, jewelry, gifts, home decor and treats.
The event will be celebrating 15 years of bazaars.
“We are going to be giving away 15-dollar bazaar bucks to 15 winners throughout the day,” said Haylie Rowberry, the event coordinator. “It’s going to be kind of like a scavenger hunt. I’m really excited about it.”
It’s a cash gift card that people can use to spend with any vendor during the craft fair.
There will also be delicious cinnamon rolls from Mrs. Powell’s given away to the first 100 shoppers who come through the door at “The Hive” entrance of the school.
This year’s bazaar will feature more vendors than ever before, with 120 participating.
“I am super excited that we’re able to have more vendors. The school did a remodel and it was to our advantage and so we were able to fit 30 more vendors than we have had in the past,” Rowberry said.

There will be new vendors, as well as those who have been there for many years. Businesses like Chocolate Plunge, The Giggly Piglet, Joe Magic Games, The Corndog Company, and Lemon Smashers will be there. A new vendor, Better Than Happy Home, based in Rexburg, will offer Christian artwork.
“We have so many things: 3D printed toys and fidget toys, barnwood arts, chainsaw carvings, lots of holiday gifts and stocking stuffers, hair accessories, women’s and children’s latest fashions, minky blankets and homemade marshmallows,” said Rowberry.

The event is expected to bring thousands of people throughout the day. Rowberry invites everyone to check out the bazaar and said it’s a great way to support small businesses.
“It’s kind of a day for women to get out of their house and do some Christmas shopping and spoil themselves. They make a full day of it. It has become a tradition for women,” she said.
Rowberry also hosts a Spring Bazaar, which will take place in March.
