Election Day brought a possible record numbers of voters to the polls Tuesday.
The East Idaho News crew is talking to candidates and the Idaho secretary of state. We’ll be posting live videos here from our interviews to keep you up to date.
Here’s what we’re learning:
- Turnout is big. Really big! Election clerks and poll workers have been extremely busy. After 8 p.m., when the polls closed, people were still in line.
- It’s not just about the candidate elections. The initiatives are hot issues, especially Proposition 1, which asserts a woman’s right to an abortion.
- Voters are fired up!
