Odyssey Charter School Closing Permanently

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Odyssey Charter School in Idaho Falls is closing permanently. The school’s board of directors decided Thursday to not appeal a state ruling that revoked the school’s charter.
The state determined that the school’s approach to education did not meet required accreditation standards. Administrators recommended that parents elect a new board and draft a new charter as an alternative.
About 90 students from Jefferson, Bonneville, and Bingham counties will have to find new schools in the next few days.
