Netflix Officially Renews “House of Cards” for Season Four

Netflix(NEW YORK) — Netflix announced on Thursday that it has officially renewed its popular series House of Cards for a fourth season.
Set to return in 2016, Netflix says Golden Globe winners Kevin Spacey, who plays President Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright, who portrays his wife Claire, will return in season four. Production on new episodes will begin in the summer of 2015.
House of Cards was nominated for three Golden Globes in 2015, with Kevin Spacey winning Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series.
A release date for season four wasn’t announced. Season 3 of House of Cards is currently available on Netflix.
