Police: Traffic violation leads to drug arrest

POCATELLO — Pocatello police arrested a woman they said had more than 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Sabina Adamson, 36, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. She was stopped for going 10 miles over the speed limit at North Main and Kraft, police said.

Officers said they found Adamson had four bags of methamphetamine totaling 101.41 grams, 1.04 grams of heroin, and a loaded Hi-Point .380 pistol.

Adamson was arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm, as well as several drug-related charges.

Police are not releasing further information at this time.
