On this edition of East Idaho Newsmakers, Nate Eaton talks with Kevin Call. Kevin is the owner of Farr Candy and Ice Cream.

Kevin’s grandfather, Ray Farr, started the company in 1911, a time when people couldn’t buy ice cream in a store. He opened a confection store on Broadway Street in Idaho Falls.

Over the years, the business has grown, moved and been passed on through members of the family.

During their conversation, Kevin and Nate talk about the company’s history and what’s next for this iconic east Idaho business.

Watch the video above for the entire conversation.
