Woman using a borrowed car shocked when some Secret Santa elves show up with a big gift

A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.

Diana came to the United States from England when she was in her mid-20s. She has worked hard as a single mother raising her four children to adulthood. She has worked more than full-time to make her financial situation work. She has a full-time job at a doctor’s office and for years, she did grocery demos on weekends.

This year has been tough for Diana. Her car was totaled when someone ran into her and when she was borrowing a car, she found the driver’s door frozen shut. She tried to get it open and it broke in the process. She needed to come up with the funds to pay for the broken door on the borrowed car.

Then one morning she woke up and was having problems with her eyes. She had to rely on others to get to the doctor and said at one point, “This is hard. I am usually the one that gets to help people.”

After eye surgery, Diana has been able to return to work but she is using a borrowed car and is unsure when she’ll be able to afford a new vehicle.

Secret Santa heard about Diana and asked the East Idaho News team to surprise her a few days before Christmas with some nice gifts. Watch the video above to see what happened!
