Record-breaking heat forecasted for eastern Idaho this week

POCATELLO — The National Weather Service is forecasting record or near-record heat across eastern Idaho this week.
Temperatures will be 15-20 degrees above average for early June, bringing an increased potential for fires and a warning to anyone who will be outside for an extended period of time.
