POCATELLO — A Pocatello man who posted bond in September is back in jail after failing to submit a drug and alcohol test sample.
Lamar Richard Williams, 30, was arrested by deputies from the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop on Highland Boulevard last Tuesday. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Sept. 28 after he failed to remain in contact with court services and provide drug and alcohol test samples, as he was instructed to do when he was released.
Williams was initially arrested following an altercation with police in May when he refused to leave a church he had entered without permission. He was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine after he was tased and arrested.
He is now being held without bond and is scheduled for a jury trial on Dec. 7.
