Easter egg hunts happening this week in east Idaho

IDAHO FALLS — With Easter fast approaching, several groups in east Idaho have planned Easter egg hunts and other Easter-themed events.
Here’s a list of some of the bigger events going on near you:
April 2
Idaho Falls
Rainbow Restoration and Keller Williams Realty are teaming up to host an Eggstravaganza event on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Keller Williams offices. 3525 Merlin Drive. The event will include an egg hunt, photos with the Easter bunny, and an Easter-themed walk-through. Admission is free, and more information can be found at the allevents website.
April 3
Ammon
The public is welcome to attend a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Life Care Center, 2725 E. 17th Street. The group’s Facebook page has more information.
April 4
Ashton
According to Ashton’s Facebook page, the city’s Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at North Fremont High School, 3581 E. 1300 North. Admission is free.
Chubbuck
Pourtneuf District Library will hold the EggCessible Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. on Friday at Stuart Park, 161 Stuart Ave. Several egg hunts are planned to be sensory friendly, wheelchair/walker accessible, blind/visually impaired accessible, and general hunts by age group. Admission is free, but tickets are required. The group’s Facebook page has more information.
Idaho Falls
Hope Lutheran Church and School will host a drive-thru Easter egg hunt on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 2071 12th Street. The Drive Thru Easter Egg Hunt Facebook page has all the information needed.
The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation is hosting a Find the Easter Bunny event on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the Civilian Plaza, 510 Park Ave. More information can be found on the allevents website.
Island Park
The Island Park community has planned an Easter egg hunt at the Island Park Village Golf Course Clubhouse, 4170 Grandview Road, on Saturday at 11 a.m. The egg hunt is open to children aged 2-12, and the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures. Pocatello
Historic Downtown Pocatello venue will host a Family Fun Easter Egg Fest on Saturday at 100 S. Main Street. It starts at 11 a.m., and organizers say kids will get thousands of fun items in their Easter eggs. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will also be available Southeast Idaho High Country is the site to find information about the event.
Rexburg
The Rexburg Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Porter Park, S 2nd West and 3rd West. The Chamber of Commerce website has the information for the event.
Ririe
The Ririe Community Easter Egg Hunt will happen on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Ririe High School, 13809 N. 130th East. It’s geared to kids aged 1-10. More information can be found on the City of Ririe website.
Shelley
A Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt is planned for Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Snake River Homestead, 587 E. 1250 North. This event is especially for families with children with special needs, and organizers say it is meant to be a fun, enjoyable and safe environment where all children can participate. Idaho Falls
An Easter brunch hosted by the Snake River Event Center is planned for Sunday at 11 a.m. at Shilo Inn, 780 Lindsey Blvd. Organizers say diners can “expect a delicious brunch spread inspired by the colors and freshness of spring — bright dishes, sweet treats, and all your brunch favorites.” More information can be found on the allevents website.
