Bonneville County Transfer Station will be closed next week for maintenance

The following is a news release from Bonneville County.
IDAHO FALLS – The Bonneville County Transfer Station will be closed beginning May 12 until May 16. This closure is necessary for maintenance at the facility.
The following items will still be accepted at the transfer station during the closure:
- tires
- freon items (refrigerators, freezers, A/C units)
- used motor oil (up to 5 gallons)
- lead acid batteries
Municipal and household waste will be diverted to the Peterson Hill Landfill, 9449 E Sunnyside Road in Idaho Falls. The hours of operation at the landfill are Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Metal and Cardboard recycling will be accepted at the Bonneville County Hatch Pit, 3690 Recycle Road in Idaho Falls. The hours of operation at the Hatch Pit are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
