POCATELLO — The Business Women of Pocatello (BWP) is rolling out the red carpet for its highly anticipated Women’s Marketplace featuring Fashion’s Night Out, set for Friday, Aug. 22, in downtown Pocatello’s Lookout Point.

This free community event is all about celebrating women-owned businesses, showcasing local talent, and bringing people together for an evening of shopping, style, and fun.

Event organizer and fashion show designer Amber Cook, who also serves as president of the Business Women of Pocatello Board, said guests can look forward to a lively mix of marketplace vendors offering fashion, beauty, handmade goods, food trucks, snow cones, live entertainment, and giveaways.

“This event is more than a marketplace—it’s a movement,” Cook said. “Our mission at BWP is to engage, empower, and educate women in every stage of business and life. Women’s Marketplace featuring Fashion’s Night Out embodies that mission by fostering collaboration, increasing visibility, and celebrating women’s impact in our community.”

One of the biggest highlights of the evening is the Fashion’s Night Out runway show. Local boutiques, stylists, and designers will step into the spotlight, and leading the charge is Pocatello’s own Debbie Beaumont.

With years of experience producing runway shows in southeast Idaho—and even having her designs showcased in New York—Beaumont blends creativity with community. Her vision for the Pocatello edition of Fashion’s Night Out is to bring high-end flair and local pride together on one runway.

Originally launched in 2009 by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour to support the fashion industry, Fashion’s Night Out quickly became a global celebration of style and shopping.

Beaumont and the BWP team are excited to bring that same spirit to Pocatello, highlighting local boutiques, designers, and entrepreneurs.

Additionally, to make the night even more memorable, the entire event will be professionally photographed and filmed—including drone coverage—so guests and businesses alike can relive the magic.

The Women’s Marketplace opens at 4 p.m. with the fashion show set to begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to join in supporting local women-led businesses while enjoying an evening of food, fashion, and fun.

“I am so excited. I would love to see the community come out and support all these businesses,” said Cook.
