New fitness studio in Idaho Falls offers infrared light with its workouts

IDAHO FALLS — An infrared fitness studio that offers stress relief, improved circulation and support for overall health is now open in eastern Idaho.
Husband-and-wife duo Neesha and Tyler Burton are the owners of Sculptd Studio at 2247 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls by Bob’s Indoor Golf. The business opened its doors Monday.
“Our workouts are really unique. We offer strength training and Pilates. We also have a stretching and recovery class,” Neesha said.
The studio uses infrared heat for the workouts. According to its website, “Infrared is a form of gentle, invisible light that warms the body directly rather than heating the air around you. It’s designed to create a comfortable environment that supports relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being during class.”
“We use (infrared) in the form of panels on the roof, and it penetrates through you. It gets to your bones and skin, and it has so many benefits. When it comes to working out, it helps you recover and makes you more mobile. You detox a lot more than just regular sweat,” Neesha said.

The studio has red lighting inside, but that’s for special effects to make it look fun.
The Burtons used to live in Hawaii for a few years on and off. She said she was first introduced to infrared studios in Hawaii and really loved it.
“I would leave feeling so good. It’s an addictive feeling to sweat things out, and I really looked into it after that,” she said.
Neesha said she really got into working out about five years ago, in 2021, when she decided to go to the gym with her husband.
“I was always very skinny growing up. I was born early, almost two months early. I was just small,” she said. “One day, I went with Tyler. Going to the gym made me feel strong, and I felt a lot better about myself.”
She learned she could gain strength and weight, and it became a passion of hers. It motivated her and soon became a big part of her life.
Neesha started getting involved in the fitness industry and did social media, sold workout plans and workout clothes. Now, she’s very excited to have her own studio with her husband.
“We created the workouts. We’ve been spending months since the beginning of the year creating and putting different workouts together,” Neesha said. “Our workouts are made for specific results. I think it’s a very convenient way to get in shape.”
There are four classes offered, including:
- So strong: A full-body and strength training class focused on heavy lifting to build muscle and endurance
- So toned: Blends higher reps, lighter weights and is a Pilates-style workout
- So flex: A low-intensity class focused on flexibility, recovery and mobility
- So peachy: Targets the glutes and core through strength training, band resistance and core-focused sculpting sequences
The classes are 45 minutes long. There are different options for memberships, including the new-member offer, which is $35 for three classes. Or if you want to try one class out, it’s $25. Click here to learn more.
Neesha has five different trainers, and she will also be teaching. The instructors will be actively doing the workouts while coaching.

“I do think our instructors are unique compared to a lot of fitness studios that we’ve gone to. They actively do the workout while coaching and saying what to do, which I feel like is really hard,” she said.
She likes this approach compared to other studios, where she saw instructors who weren’t working out and were just telling people what to do.
“All of our instructors practice what they preach. I think it’s super cool,” she said. “If people can see them doing something really hard while also teaching them to do it, I think it tells them that they can do it. It’s more than just somebody walking around and saying it.”
Sculptd Studio is open based on class hours, which currently include morning and evening classes. It’s closed on Sundays.
“I think that the infrared is beneficial; the workouts are fun. We play high-energy music, and it’s a way to get a workout in that I feel like you won’t dread. I feel like a lot of people who don’t like fitness, it’s a way to help them be healthier,” Neesha added.
