EAST IDAHO NEWSMAKERS: Stephanie Mickelsen

In this edition of East Idaho Newsmakers, Nate Eaton speaks with Idaho Falls native Stephanie Mickelsen.

Mickelsen is actively involved in the community. She is the Chief Financial Officer of Mickelsen Farms and was recently appointed by the Idaho State Board of Education to serve on the College of Eastern Idaho’s first board of trustees.

Mickelsen is also the president of the Bonneville County Republican Women and serves on the Bonneville Jefferson Groundwater District. She was the Bonneville County Farm Bureau President and served as a state director for Idaho Farm Bureau.

Mickelsen and Eaton discuss a variety of issues including the transition of Eastern Idaho Technical College to the College of Eastern Idaho, the state of the Republican party, challenges east Idaho farmers are facing and more.
