EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!

We want to thank people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you feeling good.

If you’ve been by the Ammon Walmart lately, chances are you’ve seen a man on the street corner waving and cheerfully greeting drivers coming and going from the store. Many passersby are caught off guard by how friendly this man is and we decided to learn his story.

We stopped by this week and found out this man is known as “Dr. Pepper.” He admits he has a rough past and was recently released from prison after being convicted of drug charges.

We decided to give “Dr. Pepper” a small gift and thank him for being so kind to everyone he encounters. Watch the video above to see what happened!
