A Feel Good Friday surprise for Mr. Pizza

  Published at  | Updated at

EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!

We want to surprise people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you feeling good.

A few weeks ago, Josh Johnson, one of our employees, walked into Mr. Pizza in Shelley and met Shannon Albright, the owner. Josh quickly learned that Mr. Pizza has been in business for 32 years and has offered the $2 lunch special every day since he opened. The price has never gone up, and Albright is determined to offer the special until the day he retires.

Josh wrote about his experience on Facebook and within days, the post had over 400 comments and had been shared nearly 2,500 times. Mr. Pizza has obviously impacted a lot of lives.

We decided to surprise Mr. Pizza and thank him for all he’s done over the decades.

Watch the video above to see the surprise!
