A nurse who helps sexual assault victims is thanked for Feel Good Friday

  Published at

EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!

We want to surprise people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you feeling good.

Today we are honoring Anita, one of a four trained sexual assault nurse examiners working in eastern Idaho. Anita and her three colleagues work 365 days a year responding to law enforcement when a victim needs a sexual assault exam performed.

April is Child Abuse Awareness month and many of the assault victims are children. Anita has compassionately helped many women, children and men over the years as they deal with the horrific events of sexual crimes.

We decided to thank April for her work and showed up with a special surprise.
